Not your typical beach!

So I am waaaaaaaay behind on blogging but I'm going to finally try to catch up today so get ready to read a couple of posts!  First of all, I wanted to post some pictures from our trip to the beach.  Now, this wasn't the kind of beach that is probably in most of your heads...it's completely different because it's the middle of the summer and it's FREEZING!!!!  We both were wearing jeans with longs sleeve shirts and jackets and it  was still chilly!  The crazy thing is that there were kids swimming in the water with regular bathing suits on!  Of course we had to bring Vida since she had never been to the beach before...let me tell you - it was a complete mess!  She met some other doggie friends and played frisbee in the waves the entire time we were there.  She then decided to give herself an exfoliation treatment and rolled in the sand!!  Needless to say, we had to take her to a do-it-yourself dog wash place on the way home...too bad the dog wash place doesn't have a car wash place next door!  That would have been nice!
